The Euro & External funding group now has 24 members, representing 17 local authorities.

Our group deal with European and external funding which is money awarded by grant-giving organisations, such as the National Lottery Distributors, the European Union, local or national trusts, and central government (either directly or through its many agencies).

Main focuses of the group are:

• Developing input into policy areas with European dimension

• Creating new programmes to access European Funding

• Supporting partner organisations in accessing European structural funds

• Establishing and promoting external funding best practice, policies and procedures

• Supporting the completion of funding applications
